Price Industries Inc. is on the search for a Intern - Human Resources Administrator for our growing US office and manufacturing facility located in Winder, GA. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist Intern to join our HR team. This internship offers hands-on experience in various HR functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, and recruitment. The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft Office skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to assist with various HR-related tasks. This position is 20-25 hours per week and able to acomodate up to 40 hours per week depending on the interns schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the creation and enhancement of PowerPoint presentations.
- Support the HR team in conducting new hire onboarding processes.
- Answer basic employee questions and provide general HR support.
- Participate in recruiting efforts for hourly positions.
- Learn and assist with FMLA, LOA, benefits administration, and other HR functions.
- Engage in public speaking opportunities as needed.
- Travel to another facility 1-2x per week about 15-20 minutes from Winder plant.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the HR field.
