Specials Drafter
Price Industries Inc. is in search for Specials Drafter for its growing US office and manufacturing facility located in Suwanee, Georgia. This position will report to the Production Planning Manager and will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate drawing packages for special orders to production and purchasing. This position works with the Design Engineering group, Application Engineering and Customer Service group, Information Technologies, Manufacturing and Purchasing.
Responsibilities
- Generate complete manufacturing drawings packages based on criteria requested by customers
- Support production as special product is produced
- Translate operational processes into data requirements and map to existing solutions.
- Produce documentation including process flow charts, requirements documents, and work
- instructions.
- Identifying and providing recommendations to mitigate risks that may affect production.
- Test and validate data.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Successfully completed a Mechanical Technology or Design/Drafting program
- Experience with Solid Edge and AutoCAD would be an asset
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is required
- Experience working with ERP systems is required
- Experience working with IFS ERP System would be an asset
- Ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment and work constructively under pressure
- Good oral and written communication
- Exceptional computer-based skills and knowledge
- Demonstrable problem solving and analytic skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
