Job Summary:
As the Service Manager, you will oversee daily service operations, manage and support technicians, ensure compliance with industry standards, and help drive performance and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with experience in pest control and a passion for team development and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a team of pest, lawn, termite, and insulation technicians
- Monitor route performance and ensure timely, effective service delivery
- Conduct regular field audits, ride-alongs, and quality control checks
- Train, coach, and mentor service team members to meet performance goals
- Manage scheduling, routing, inventory, and equipment needs
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company safety standards
- Handle escalated customer issues and work to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and administrative teams
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Promote a positive team culture and uphold company values
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in the pest control industry; management experience preferred
- Valid pest control licenses/certifications (preferred or required by state)
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Working knowledge of lawn care, termite, and TAP insulation services is a plus
- Proficiency in route management and service software
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
