Cohen Eye Institute is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee the strategic and daily functions of our high-volume ophthalmology practice. This leadership role requires a strong background in healthcare management, financial oversight, and operational efficiency to drive practice growth, ensure compliance, and elevate the patient experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Practice Operations : Manage and optimize patient scheduling, workflow, and overall clinic efficiency to ensure seamless coordination between staff and physicians.
- Team Leadership : Recruit, train, and oversee administrative and clinical personnel, conduct performance evaluations, and maintain comprehensive staff policies.
- Financial Management : Oversee billing, coding, accounts receivable / payable, and provider compensation models. Monitor financial performance and negotiate vendor contracts.
- Regulatory Compliance & Medical Records : Ensure adherence to HIPAA, MIPS, and other healthcare regulations while maintaining accurate patient records and overseeing audits.
- Office Administration : Maintain office systems, oversee inventory and equipment, and manage vendor relationships to support operational needs.
- Patient Experience & Satisfaction : Implement initiatives to enhance patient care, address concerns, and continuously improve service quality.
- Credentialing & Compliance : Maintain up-to-date credentialing for providers and facilities while ensuring compliance with all industry regulations.
- Growth & Marketing Strategy : Develop and implement plans to attract new patients, strengthen referral networks, and expand practice visibility.
