1. Payroll Services for Clients
- Process payroll for multiple clients accurately and on schedule
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data, wage adjustments, and deductions
- Collaborate with our tax and accounting teams to provide recommendations on payroll amounts for tax optimization
- Stay current on federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure full compliance
2. Client Communication & Coordination
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client payroll inquiries and updates
- Liaise with clients to collect and verify payroll information (e.g., hours, benefits, withholdings)
- Support client onboarding by setting up payroll in accordance with their specific needs
3. Office Administration
- Provide executive assistance to firm principals, including calendar management, scheduling, and efficient communication on their behalf.
- Oversee office supply inventory, vendor relationships, and general facility maintenance
- Coordinate meeting schedules, manage office calendars, and greet visitors
- Handle incoming calls, mail, and deliveries in a timely, professional manner
- Maintain organized records, files, and correspondence for the firm
4. Process Improvement & Compliance
- Identify and implement ways to streamline payroll and administrative processes
- Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently upheld
- Support any special projects or initiatives that enhance client service or operational efficiency
Education & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated experience (2 years) processing payroll for multiple clients or within a public accounting environment is preferred
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks Payroll, Gusto, ADP)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of HR basics and tax filing/reporting requirements
