Position Overview:
We are seeking a Systems Analyst II to support the migration and implementation of an integrated resident information system to a new SaaS solution. This role will involve comprehensive planning, data assessment, cleansing, and mapping to ensure compatibility with the new system. The Systems Analyst II will be responsible for designing workflows, conducting testing, providing documentation, and working closely with stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support migration efforts for the integrated resident information system, including planning, data mapping, and workflow design. Ensure a seamless transition to the new SaaS platform. (40%)
- Ensure design compliance with organizational standards and set up validation and auditing processes post-migration. (10%)
- Perform testing, create unit test scripts, manage test scenarios, and analyze results to ensure the reliability and functionality of the new system. (25%)
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including managers and technical teams, and deliver presentations to explain the migration process and system functionality. (15%)
- Facilitate a smooth transition, offer post-migration support, provide training, and prepare system documentation. (10%)
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in database management systems and data migration, specifically in healthcare EHR systems such as Cerner Millennium.
- 7 years of experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar databases, as well as proficiency in EXCEL, Word, and Visio.
- 7 years of experience in business analysis, including reviewing user requirements and automating processes.
- 7 years of experience documenting business process flows and preparing data input/output specifications.
- Strong skills in resolving complex data-related issues and providing clear, concise project documentation.
- 7 years of experience in communication and collaboration, working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- 7 years of experience applying architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to IT systems.
- 2 years of experience with SaaS model EHR systems and cloud data migrations (preferred).
- Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework (preferred).
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and data security related to healthcare data (preferred).
Work Hours and Location:
- Normal business hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding state holidays).
- Primary work location: Remote, but based near Austin, Texas.
- Travel and related expenses are at the worker’s expense unless pre-approved.
Other Requirements:
- Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.
- The candidate may be required to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends and holidays.
