Job Description : Enterprise Architect 3
Location : Austin, TX (Currently Remote but need someone in Austin, TX area only.
Duration : Contract
Note : Need Someone with State or Federal Client Experience.
I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The organization requires the services of an Enterprise Architect 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the qualifications for Applications / Software Development. The selected candidate will be responsible for directing and leading activities to improve the current IT infrastructure, optimize business operations, and set the direction for integrating information applications and programs.
The candidate will be responsible for cataloging, developing, coordinating, communicating, maintaining, and enforcing overall enterprise architecture models, initiatives, and components to support the organization's business and technology activities. The Enterprise Architect will also supervise a team of technologists and report to the Chief Technology Officer.
Key Responsibilities :
- Directs and evaluates internal functions, business development strategies, and technical processes, recommending improvements.
- Creates business architecture models and implements business goals and visions.
- Develops prototypes and proof of concepts.
- Evaluates system engineering, talent recruiting, and accounting models for discrepancies.
- Provides recommendations for cost reductions in technology and business strategies and presents to leadership.
- Provides guidance in business architecture and systems processing.
- Ensures the efficiency, security, and support of the organization's technology and business goals.
- Implements compliance architecture, including data storage and metadata management.
- Plans, organizes, and participates in training to enhance employee knowledge for organizational growth.
- Conducts research in talent management technology strategies.
- Provides analysis and consultation to leadership on key technology issues and evaluates emerging technologies for implementation.
- Participates in planning, policy development, and budget discussions to support IT environments.
- Manages and provides professional development for Enterprise Architecture staff, developing work performance plans and conducting evaluations.
