Job Title: Scientific Program Analyst
Location: Rockville, MD (NIH BRAIN Initiative)
Weekly Hours: Full-Time (30–40 hours/week)
Position Summary:
The NIH BRAIN Initiative seeks a Scientific Program Analyst to support and manage a portfolio of grants and cooperative agreements related to therapeutic human neuroscience and neuromodulation technologies. The role includes project management, data analysis, and logistical planning for scientific initiatives, meetings, and workshops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and evaluate scientific program operations and milestones.
- Assist with project planning, development, and execution.
- Maintain and analyze project documentation, databases, and website content.
- Prepare scientific presentations, reports, and materials for meetings and conferences.
- Coordinate logistics for scientific events, including communication with stakeholders.
- Track project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines and deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or related field.
- Skills: Writing, data analysis, project management, clinical research, and IRB protocols.
- Software Proficiency: MS Teams, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, Word.
Preferred Knowledge:
- NIH grants and funding mechanisms, human subjects research protection, and portfolio analysis.
