Overall Position Summary and Objectives
We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Scientific Manager to support the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) implementation of the NIH Data Management and Sharing policy. The revised overall NIH policy for data management and sharing went into effect on January 25 2023 (NOTOD21013). That policy requires that almost all applications to NIH contain data management and sharing plans (DMS plans) that describe the data to be collected the tools or software that will be used to analyze the data the standards that will be used to describe the data the plans for data preservation any plans to limit access to the data and timelines for sharing the data.
