Software QA Engineer
📍 Location: Texas- Remote
We are seeking a Software QA Engineer to lead testing efforts, ensure software quality, and collaborate with development teams to enhance system performance. This role involves automation testing, performance testing, and API testing for complex web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Develop detailed performance testing scenarios based on user requirements
✅ Execute performance testing methodologies, including load, stress, and endurance testing
✅ Write and execute automated performance test scripts
✅ Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks
✅ Perform API testing using REST-assured-based frameworks
✅ Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage
✅ Conduct SQL queries for data analysis and validation
✅ Perform manual testing and data validation as needed
Required Qualifications:
✔ 7 years of experience testing complex web applications
✔ 7 years of experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
✔ 6 years of automation testing experience with Selenium & TestNG
✔ 4 years of experience in API testing with REST-assured-based frameworks
✔ 3 years of experience with SQL databases
✔ 3 years of experience in Java programming
Preferred Qualifications:
➕ 2 years of experience with open-source test automation frameworks
➕ 2 years of experience in SOAP and REST API testing
➕ 1 year of experience with JIRA & Zephyr Scale
