LOOKING FOR A FRIENDLY SALES ASSOCIATE. Knowledge of lumber, tools, paint and plumbing is a plus. Sales Associate duties and responsibilities will include answering phones, estimates, stocking, helping customers, loading and unloading, cleaning etc.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Computer knowledge
- Assess customers' needs and provide assistance and information on product features
- Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
- Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
- Actively seek out customers in store
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
- Hands-on experience with POS transactions
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases
- Handle returns of merchandise
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales associate, Sales representative or similar role
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Basic Math skills with ability to read a ruler to do building estimates
