What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate position at PRIDDY'S LUMBER?
Looking for a friendly sales associate. Knowledge of lumber, tools and plumbing would be a plus. Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. Will also be answering sales calls, stocking, loading items for customers, estimates and etc. (May not include all duties)
- Welcome customers to the store
- Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on products
- Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Basic Math skills, can read a ruler
- Actively seek out customers in store
- Handle returns of merchandise
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Retail Associates & Cashiers: 1 year (Preferred)
