Job Description:
Job Title: CT Tech
Location: North Carolina
Schedule: 36 hours per week
Shift: Night / 7-7 (12 hrs)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Pay Range: $2200.00- $2300.00 Weekly DOE
Overview
We are looking to employ a skilled CT technologist to operate our CT scanning equipment and capture diagnostic images that are of good technical quality. The CT Technologist’s responsibilities include taking inventory of radiologic supplies, ensuring that the radiologic equipment is in good working order, and adhering to established guidelines on hygiene and infection control. You should also be able to monitor patients throughout the scanning procedure to identify and respond to any allergic reactions to the contrast agents.
Required Skills:
- Operate CT equipment for diagnostic imaging
- Position patients for accurate scans
- Perform CT scanner warm-ups
- Sterilize equipment for patient safety
- Follow doctors' scanning instructions
- Administer contrast agents
- Assess scan quality
- Explain procedures and support patients
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 years of experience and EPIC and IV insertion experience
- Certifications: ARRT (CT) Certification, BLS Certification
