Position Overview :
Pride Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team in Gainesville, Florida . This is a 13 -week travel contract position offering guaranteed hours . Key Responsibilities :
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications for patients.
- Process medication orders and verify patient information.
- Ensure medications are stored properly and follow safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records related to prescriptions and medications.
- Work closely with the medical team to ensure patients receive optimal care.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking medications.
- Provide medication counseling and education to patients as directed by the pharmacist.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations, including infection control and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacy leadership.
