EPIC Nursing Charge Capture Analyst
Pride Health is hiring an EPIC Nursing Charge Capture Analyst for one of its clients in Florida.
This 3-week contract supports EPIC Go-Live with competitive pay and benefits.
- Location – Multiple locations throughout Melbourne, FL, and Cocoa Beach, FL
- Pay range - $48- $52 per hour.
- Length of assignment – 3 weeks contract, supporting EPIC Go-Live project
- Shift – 12-hour shift, either 3 shifts, 36 hours per week, or 4 shifts, 48 hours per week. 6 PM-6 AM OR 7 PM-7 AM.
Job Summary
An EPIC Nursing Charge Capture Analyst job involves ensuring accurate and complete capture of patient-related charges within the EPIC system, verifying documentation, and collaborating with various teams to improve revenue integrity and compliance.
Requirements
- Licensed clinician (RN) preferred.
- EPIC end-user experience in a field supportive of nursing is required.
- Must be proficient in Epic charge capture workflow.
- Primary areas of support are ED.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare revenue cycle processes, professional and/or hospital charging, claims billing, and/or coding, Charge Master, or related experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and background in professional and/or hospital revenue cycle, demonstrating progressive experience within a healthcare organization, is required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Coding Rules and Regulations required (i.e., CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, APC, and DRG), Coding Certification (RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC) preferred.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and other web-based applications.
