About the Job
Pride Mobility Products/Quantum Rehab is seeking a skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team. As an Armed Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure workplace for employees, vendors, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the facility to deter potential security threats.
- Monitor security cameras to identify and respond to any disruptions or unlawful activities.
- Perform regular patrols of the facility to ensure the premises are secure and employees are safe.
- Assist visitors in a courteous manner while adhering to all established company visitation policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain a daily patrol log to document incidents and activities.
- E nsure all safety and security rules are strictly observed.
- Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training.
- Analyze and interpret general business policies, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Communicate clearly and concisely using a 2-way radio or cell phone provided by the company.
- A service weapon and the ability to safely carry the firearm under Mississippi Law.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience providing armed building security.
- Certified Firearm Safety Training.
