AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hire, train, manage and retain service team not limited to advisors and technicians
- Ability to listen, communicate effectively and resolve conflict with customers, employee and co-workers
- Meets department financial objectives by estimating requirements; preparing annual sales and service budgets; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
- Manage and maintain factory standards for warranty claims
- Maintain high CSI rating by handling customer complaints immediately and appropriately
- Maintain customer follow up system that encourages repeat and referral business
- Establishes department goals and objectives, measures progress, analyzes results and makes improvements as needed
- Manages required training to comply with manufacturers
- Manage shop productivity, labor hours, cost of sale and operating expenses to provide for a profitable department
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 - 4 years of management experience in an automotive dealership required
- Strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Successful experience in automotive retail management
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Massachusetts Resident with a valid and driver’s license
- Ability to work extended hours and Saturdays when necessary
- Strong focus on providing excellent customer service
