We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our property management team in Pembroke Pines, FL. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a customer-focused mindset, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional service. This role involves assisting with property management tasks, maintaining tenant relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the property.
Duties:
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and files related to tenant information, lease agreements, and property maintenance.
- Oversite and management of Occupancy, Delinquency, Renewals and new leases
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi for tracking tenant accounts, processing applications, and managing work orders.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Support leasing efforts by conducting property tours, processing rental applications, and following up with prospective tenants.
- Collaborate with the Property Manager on budgeting, reporting, and financial tracking related to the property’s performance.
- Ensure that the property is well-maintained by coordinating maintenance requests and inspections.
- Assist in marketing efforts to attract new tenants through social media and community outreach initiatives.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a assistant property manager is required.
- Previous experience as a leasing agent preferred
- Yardi experience
- Proficient in office software applications and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Experience and timely with delinquencies, violations, notices and evictions
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate files and records.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with tenants, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on customer service excellence.
