PrideStaff is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with a background in Accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing financial records, and ensuring accurate and timely cash application processes as needed.
This is a Temp to Hire opportunity with a starting pay rate of $25/hr.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (IN OFFICE)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties such as managing emails.
- Assisting with identifying unapplied cash while working with internal team members to identify who funds belong to.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Maintain and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality of information.
- Support the accounting team with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant with a focus and/or background in accounting.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
