What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative support position at PrideStaff?
PrideStaff is proudly working with a Palm Beach County municipality to find an Administrative Assistant to support the Human Resources and Finance departments of this local municipality.
In this role, you'll be seated in the Finance Department but will spend half the day working to support Finance and the other half to support HR.
Finance : Help with the scanning processes (including the payroll), daily count of deposits, daily postage for ALL outgoing mail, monthly postage report and request for payment, department ordering supplies, boxing, labeling, lifting and recording all the records and other administrative tasks as needed.
HR : Manage the reconciliation and payment of insurance bills and department invoices / credit card bills, scanning and managing employee files, handling the department’s public records requests, ordering department supplies, completing verification of employments, managing the department website and intranet and potentially some other project / auditing items as needed.
Skills Required :
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Experience with records management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Discretion handling confidential information
