What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Accountant position at PrideStaff?
Duties and Responsibilities
Accurately and timely recording transactions such as expense and revenue
Processing payments to utilities and vendors to pay for vendor services and supplies
Sending invoices to customers for services provided
Reconciling balance sheet accounts and performing detailed account analysis on balance sheet and
income statement accounts
Prepare journal entries as necessary to book accruals and other non-cash transactions
Process and record incoming payments and deposits in bank via in-office scanning devices
Ensure backup and related support files for all transactions are kept and maintained for easy reference
Maintain confidentiality on all transactions
Support in implementing and maintaining third party systems.
Review AR and AP Aging reports and ensure that client payments are made timely.
Required Experience / Qualifications :
3 years working in a corporate environment including financial statement preparation
Bachelors degree in Accounting
Solid knowledge of accounting principles including GAAP
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Effective problem solving skills
Ability to work well as a team including with staff in other offices
Proficient in Excel and Office suite
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
Ability to work well within a team environment and effectively communicate within and outside the
business. Be courteous and respectful at all times.
