Pridestaff Production Operator Job Description
At Pridestaff, we are seeking skilled Production Operators to join our team. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for terminating fiber optic cable and producing customized fiber optic cable assemblies for our aerospace, industrial, and broadcast customers.
The position involves working with specific equipment and processes, which we will provide training on. Our company operates under a quality management system certified to the internationally recognized ISO 9001 and AS9100D standards.
You will work regular hours from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This is a temp-to-hire position with a competitive starting pay of $20/hour.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing the work area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace
- Verifying materials received with the work order to ensure accuracy
- Measuring, cutting, and stripping the fiber cable with precision
- Terminating the fiber to the connector using epoxy
- Heating and curing the connection to ensure a strong bond
- Crimping, polishing (hand and/or machine) to achieve optimal results
- Conducting optical testing to ensure the highest quality
- Heat shrinking/labeling, and packaging the finished product
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Ability to read engineering drawings, work orders, and written procedures
- Steady and precise hands, excellent vision, concentration, patience, and hand-eye coordination
- Previous experience in fiber optic cable terminations and assemblies is desirable but not required
