Field Service Technician – Fletcher – 1st Shift – Up to $35.00 / hr.
PrideStaff is recruiting for an experienced Field Service Technician for 1st Shift for a manufacturing company located in Fletcher .
Duties and Responsibilities :
Serves primarily existing and new customers by troubleshooting equipment failures by phone or on customer sites.
Locates sources of problems by observing electrical, hydraulic or mechanical devices in operation.
Startup and Commissioning of new equipment at customer location.
Maintains close relationship with customers. Identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending equipment / system improvements.
Determines changes in dimensional requirements of wear parts by inspecting parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments, Metric knowledge a must.
Disassemble of entire equipment in workshop environment for reconditioning or upgrade of customer equipment.
Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
Provide after sales technical support, review spare parts manuals and suggest replacement or wear parts. Qualifications and Requirements :
Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience as a field or maintenance technician is preferred.
Associate Technical Degree or equivalent is preferred.
PLC troubleshooting experience is required. Programming is a plus.
Hydraulic control experience is required
Strong mechanical ability and knowledge of the metric system
Strong customer service skills
Ability to travel on short notice, Monday through Friday. Some weekends required. Hours of Work : 1
Shift – 6 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $28.00 - $35.00 Per Hour
Salary : $28 - $35
