Responsibilities :
- Qualified candidates for the forklift operator position must be familiar with Forklift Safety practices and standard warehouse operations.
- Ability to safely move pallets throughout the warehouse.
- Ability to move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand and / or forklift.
- To sort items before loading and unloading.
- To attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
- To read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material / equipment needs.
