Hardware Engineer
PrideStaff is a leading staffing and employment agency dedicated to connecting talented professionals with innovative companies. We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Hardware Engineer to join one of our client's dynamic team.
Shift : Monday through Friday; 8am to 5pm
Salary : $40,000 to $70,000 annually; commensurate with experience
Location : Fort Myers, FL
Hardware Engineer Job Responsibilities :
- Design and develop hardware components and systems for electronic devices
- Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of hardware prototypes
- Analyze and resolve complex hardware issues
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to team members
- Stay up-to-date with the latest hardware technologies and industry trends
- Document hardware designs, specifications, and test results
- Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure smooth production processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for hardware development processes
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership as needed
- Participate in client meetings to understand and address hardware requirements
- Conduct feasibility studies for new hardware concepts and technologies
- Optimize hardware designs for cost, performance, and manufacturability
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
