PrideStaff Greenville is seeking an experienced HR Generalist on behalf of our client in Greer, SC.
We are searching for an experienced & skilled Human Resources Generalist. The HR Generalist responsibilities include supporting our HR department on Greenville in day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance, and contributing to a positive employee experience (new hires and existing employees). Have responsibility for activities related to supporting managers and employees in HR related activities including employee relations, record keeping and the pursuit of HR functional. Support to building relationships with employees and business leaders.
Understand Greenville Employee needs and resolve them (leaves, late arrivals, sick family members, ensure employees have appropriate rest time, they do not exceed limits working overtime, review incidences that may affect their payroll, make decisions in favor of safety when there is severe weather, etc.)
The HR Generalist will analyze and diagnose problems, develop alternative solutions and recommendations.

Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities include:

• Supports HR program delivery initiatives, such as training program rollouts, performance management and employee engagement
• This position has a key role in the interview and hiring process as well as ensure the onboarding process is completed
• Collaborate with internal and external partners as needed to research and resolve issues
• Assists with compliance to legal and statutory requirements for HR
• Screens, refers, or responds to all telephone inquiries related to HR
• Assists with HR purchasing, vending and other facilities services such as cleaning and pest contracts
• Keep control of HR documented information
• Contribute to the improvement of Turnover and Absenteeism through effective action plans implementation.
• Other tasks or duties as assigned

Human Resources Generalist Skills & Traits include:

• Able to successfully handle and resolve issues.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in building relationships with employees, business leaders and HR partners
• Assist in explaining the meaning of a policy and apply that policy to a specific situation Excellent knowledge of the employee handbook and HR policies required
• Ability to analyze and diagnose problems, develop alternative solutions and recommendations
• Exercise good judgment in dealing with sensitive and confidential information
• Proficiency in systems including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must maintain computer HR system and readily run needed information daily with high levels of accuracy
• Serves as a point of contact for moderately complex investigations generated by employees, manager, legal etc

Human Resources Generalist Qualifications include:

• 2-5 years previous Human Resources experience
• Prior experience in manufacturing (preferred)
• University Degree or College diploma in Business Management/Human Resources or equivalent
• Proficiency in systems including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
