What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Specialist position at PrideStaff?
PrideStaff is looking for an Inventory Specialist responsible for Inventory & Parts Assemblies. This is a temp to hire opportunity for a client located in Broomfield.
Inventory Specialist Job Responsibilities :
Perform inventory audits and cycle counts
Control inventory levels accordingly
Use the ERP system for receipt of materials
Ensure required stocking levels
Generate purchase orders
Report on obsolete parts, products, and materials
Assign BIN locations and manage inventory placement, cleanliness, and organization of materials
Ability to find and source items from multiple suppliers
Work to find suppliers that engage in strategic stocking of long lead-time, high dollar items
Oversee inventory adjustments such as monthly WIP, consumables, negative inventory, and project tracking
Communicating with production to ensure assembly entries are matching physical movement of product
Oversee site transfers as necessary
Receive completed part assembly orders from production to fill Bills of Materials as well as create new assemblies to improve manufacturing efficiency
Check status and track orders
Communicates to resolve of receiving / invoicing issues
Inventory Specialist Job Requirements :
Prior inventory control and management experience
Knowledge of purchasing and inventory
Understanding of supply chain and logistics
Computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
Experience with logistics portals, i.e. UPS, FedEx
Forklift experience
Experience with ERP system
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
Valid drivers license
Willing to submit to background check and drug screen Inventory Specialist Benefits :
