Qualifications
Experience in Family law in a paralegal role
Strong proficiency in MyCase is helpful, but not required
In-depth knowledge of NJ family law procedures, deadlines, and filing requirements
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
A professional demeanor and discretion when handling sensitive client matters

Responsibilities :
Collaborating closely with attorneys, fellow paralegals, and support staff to ensure cases are handled efficiently and effectively
Conducting client interviews and maintaining consistent communication to provide updates and guidance
Preparing and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, Case Information Statements, and correspondence
Managing case files from start to resolution, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met
Coordinating discovery, including document production, subpoenas, and deposition scheduling
Assisting with trial preparation, including creating trial notebooks, exhibits, and other essential materials
Filing legal documents with courts electronically (JEDS)
Actively participating in team meetings to share insights, strategies, and updates on cases
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 Per Year
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
