Security Officer PT FR/SA 1930-0400 North Austin

Overview

Ideal candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of computers and excellent writing skills. Previous Security Experience is preferred but not required. These accounts mostly consist of outdoor patrolling.

 

Security Officer Responsibilities:

Protect the property and ensure that only authorized employees and guests enter the premises to reduce the risk of theft and other disturbances.

Monitor surveillance equipment to support other security measures in place to maintain a safe and secure working environment for employees.

Coordinate with law enforcement and first responders as needed, including calling them in case of an emergency.

Fill out daily reports that detail any irregularities that occurred to ensure a solid documentation of all activities on the premises.

Security Officer Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Be able to pass a background check & a drug test
• Be able to meet Texas DPS Level II licensure requirements and take all steps to obtain license, upon hire
• Basic computer skills, at minimum
• Professional Appearance – adhere to Priebe Security Services dress code
