About Us: We are a family business that creates custom thermoformed packaging for the Medical, Electronic, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Food and Retail industries.
Job Overview: A Line Operator 1 processes thermoformed plastic products. The position calls for an eye for detail as parts must be inspected for conformance with company quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of the inline thermoforming machines
- Perform basic packaging functions; including gathering produced parts, inspecting, counting, packing, wrapping, boxing, labeling and palletizing finished goods
- Inspect product for defects and raise any concern about product quality
- Make sure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and that labels match the job traveler
- Ensure thermoforming machines and work areas are cleaned to daily standards
- Responsible for general cleanliness and safety of workspace and the manufacturing production floor
- Maintain compliance with all Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO, and company quality standards
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting of up to 40 pounds frequently, and up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Frequently reaching, grabbing, twisting and bending
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Extended periods of concentration while safely operating machinery
- This job is classified as a safety-sensitive position.
