Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team on a per diem basis starting April 2025. The NP/PA will provide high-quality medical care to patients in our Stamford office, with travel to our Cos Cob office potentially required. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This position offers flexibility with scheduled hours and is ideal for candidates seeking a part-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations of patients.
  • Diagnose and treat common medical conditions, offering treatment plans, prescriptions, and referrals as needed.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Educate patients and families regarding health management, preventative care, and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
  • Provide follow-up care for patients, addressing any concerns or changes in condition.
  • Maintain professional knowledge and expertise through continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Master’s degree in Nursing (for NP) or a graduate degree
  • Licensure/Certification:
  • Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Board Certification

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an NP or PA (preferred, but new grads will be considered).

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

  • Reliable, responsible, and flexible in scheduling.

Pay: $90.00 per hour
