About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at AdventHealth Primary Care Network. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support services in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clinical support to healthcare providers, ensuring seamless patient care experiences.
- Greet patients, obtain necessary information, and prepare them for examinations and procedures.
- Assist with medication administration, specimen collection, and laboratory testing as directed by providers.
- Maintain accurate records, perform basic clerical tasks, and contribute to a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current BLS certification is mandatory.
- Either 1 year of medical assistant experience or completion of an accredited MA program with externship required.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant through a recognized organization (e.g., AAMA, AMCA, AMT, ARMA) is essential.
