Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, ensuring the well-being of patients in our facility.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Perform tube feedings and assist with memory care for patients
- Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures
- Conduct phlebotomy, including venipuncture for blood draws
-Start and maintain intravenous lines
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Respond effectively in emergency medical situations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a Level II Trauma Center
- Maintain accurate medical documentation
-Assist provider with medication refills
-Maintaining clinic workflow
Requirements:
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
- Proficiency in tube feeding and memory care techniques
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques for infection control
- Ability to perform phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures
- Experience in emergency medicine is advantageous
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices
