Job Summary
The Additive Manufacturing Technician will work closely with the Engineering and Operation Leads to manage, maintain, and optimize the additive manufacturing laboratory. This role includes configuring equipment, overseeing daily lab operations, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and safety. The Additive Technician will coordinate with the Operations department to ensure smooth production workflows. The role also involves integrating new equipment to expand lab capabilities as well as preparing orders for production.
Duties
- Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Assist with technical aspects of production jobs
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to prevent downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues as they arise during the manufacturing process.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain safety and quality standards.
- Document production data accurately, including quantities produced, defects, and machine performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in manufacturing or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
