Job Title: Global Operations Specialist, Scheduling and Cell Logistics
Location: 100% Remote
Length: 1 year contract
Pay Rate: $39-$41/hr ******** This position can be worked on OUR W2 only (Sorry- No C2C or sponsorship provided)
Work Schedule:
Overnight Shifts: 3 shifts weekly, Friday night through Monday morning, 8:00 PM - 9:00 AM EST
Training Schedule: Approx. 5 weeks, Monday-Friday, ~9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (may vary based on APAC/EU training schedules)
Holiday On-Call: Required as assigned
Travel: Occasional domestic/international travel (≤10%)
As a Global Operations Specialist - Scheduling and Cell Logistics, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for manufacturing and logistics partners over the weekend. You'll oversee the patient treatment scheduling process for the manufacturing of autologous cellular immunotherapy products, ensuring timely coordination across collection, transportation, and manufacturing. You'll also troubleshoot real-time operational issues and maintain clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
This is a critical, hands-on operations role with the opportunity to participate in projects and growth initiatives as business needs allow.
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary contact for apheresis centers, manufacturing sites, couriers, and logistics partners
Create, update, and manage patient schedules across global treatment centers and facilities
Monitor and coordinate collection, transport, delivery, and manufacturing activities
Troubleshoot operational issues and develop real-time solutions
Provide phone and email support to internal and external stakeholders
Ensure a seamless, patient-centered experience
Execute urgent escalations, product returns, and replacements
Maintain accurate data within internal scheduling and case management systems
Provide portal support to external users
Participate in shift turnovers, team meetings, and tactical sessions
Support holiday/on-call needs as assigned
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
3 years of experience in scheduling, planning, operations, logistics, and/or supply chain
Experience in Salesforce CRM, APEX, Oracle, SAP, or similar systems preferred
Familiarity with regulated environments (cGMP/FDA) is preferred
Strong proficiency with Office 365, especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Highly self-motivated and professional
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
Calm and effective in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a global team environment
Flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities
Strong sense of accountability and ownership
Fluent in spoken and written English
Work Environment:
This is a remote role. Candidates must have a dedicated home office setup and reliable internet connection, as the position involves continuous computer and phone usage.
