Project Manager - Hybrid

Primary Talent Partners has two new Utility Project Management openings with our large utility client in the Belews Creek, NC/Greater Greensboro area. These will be 2 year, FT contract with high potential to extend and/or convert.

Pay: The pay scale is based on years of experience and is as follows...

5 to 8 years experience, $54 - $64/hr; W2 Contract, no PTO, no Benefits
9 years experience, $68 - $78/hr; W2 Contract, no PTO, no Benefits

Schedule: Hybrid, requiring 2 to 3 days in office per week. M to F, normal business hours. Start date may be late November to early December depending on the candidate and team availability. 

Description:
This position is typically retained to manage multiple projects of varying complexity. The projects will be in support of Coal and Gas Power Plant strategic plan. The plants are generally located within a 50-mile radius of Greensboro, NC. Project annual budgets can range from $100K up to $5 Million.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Graduation from a two-year college or university. Working knowledge of project management principles.
• Working Knowledge to Proficiency in Project Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving
• Project related work experience
• Risk Management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduation from a four-year college or university.
• Utility Technical Certifications/Training; PMI (PMP or CAPM) Certification; CMII certificates; Professional Engineer License.
• Working knowledge to proficiency in project related Scheduling/ Cost Controls.
• Experience in utility industry.
• Knowledge in construction management.
• The Project Manager I may have relationships with individuals in various organizations ranging from individual contributors to Senior Department Leadership (i.e. individual contributors up to executive management).
