What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Prime Care Family Care?
Full-time/part-time opportunities for Certified/Registered Medical Assistant.
Administrative duties:
- Check in patients, insurance verification, and payment collection;
- Schedules appointments and other administrative tasks as needed;
- Patient call backs, relaying patient results, and care coordination;
- Compliant with COVID-19 safety protocols;
- Other duties as assigned
Clinical duties:
- Performs all required triage duties;
- Performs injections, treatments, EKGs, in-house testing, blood draw, surgical tray set up based on provider orders;
- Prepares, cleans exam rooms and replenish supplies as needed;
- Cleans and sterilizes instruments;
- Schedules appointments and other administrative tasks as needed;
- Patient call backs, relaying patient results, and care coordination;
- Compliant with COVID-19 safety protocols;
- Other duties as assigned
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 year's experience. Primary care or urgent care experience preferred. Drug screen and background check required.
Candidate will be required to complete receptionist training.
Candidate must be professional and possess excellent customer service skills. Candidate must be reliable, motivated, and be able to work in a team environment. Flexible scheduling but must be able to commit to 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends.
