Official Title: Training & Development Manager – Multifamily
FLSA: Salary Exempt
Reports to: Director of Multifamily
Job Summary: Responsible for development and implementation of the multifamily business operations, policies, and procedures, including the following duties:
Qualifications: Minimum two years’ experience in a training role, or experience as a multifamily rental property manager.
Duties and Responsibilities including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Review and analyze existing processes for enhancement and identification of best practices.
- Collaborate with corporate leadership to create training and development material on e-learning university platform.
- Determine frequency and recurrence of training sessions.
- Manage employee training engagement and KPIs.
- Ensure training tools and curriculum are kept up to date to meet the needs of the business, including updates in software or tools.
- Identify and compile Key Performance Indicators for site performance.
- Research products and systems available in the market place which would enhance operations, enhance resident experiences, or increase opportunities to generate revenue.
- Some administrative duties as necessary.
- Provides reporting for property business operations.
- Occasional travel to visit properties or to conduct in person trainings.
Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Working knowledge of multifamily jargon. Ability to speak effectively before leadership, employee teams, and customers.
Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, bonuses, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Education/Experience: Associate's degree from two-year College or university; and two to four years multifamily property management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates and Licenses: Certified professional in training management and development, preferred, not required.
