Description
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, independent yet collaborative, and has a strong ability to pivot between clinical and administrative responsibilities. This role is integral to ensuring smooth patient care, providing specialized urologic procedures, and supporting the overall efficiency of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties:
• Perform urodynamic studies to assess bladder function.
• Triage patient concerns and assist in clinical decision-making.
• Insert and manage Foley catheters, including troubleshooting and patient education.
• Administer bladder instillations and cancer treatments such as BCG.
• Assist with in-office procedures as needed.
Administrative Support (During Downtime):
• Process prior authorizations for medications and procedures.
• Manage patient portal messages, ensuring timely responses to clinical inquiries.
• Assist with coordination of patient care, scheduling, and follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with medical protocols.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of CT.
- Experience in urology, oncology, or procedural-based specialties preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and patient-centered approach to care.
- Comfortable with electronic medical records (EMR) and patient portals. Experience with Athena a plus.
- Current license to drive with automobile insurance accordance with state and/or agency and in good repair.
- Must have a good driving record.
