Key Responsibilities:
- Respond swiftly to emergency calls and provide efficient, life-saving medical care to patients in pre-hospital settings.
- Perform medical procedures, including first aid, CPR, and AED use, on-site and during patient transport.
- Collaborate with paramedics, firefighters, and other emergency responders, ensuring seamless teamwork in critical situations.
- Ensure the ambulance and equipment are well-maintained, sterilized, and stocked with supplies, ready for future emergencies.
- Calmly assess patients' conditions, document findings, and communicate effectively with receiving medical facilities.

Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and Training.
1. High school diploma or equivalent or related experience required for new hires effective April 2014. 2. Basic EMT training or E.R. experience required. 3. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below):
1. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 2. Current PALS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 3. Certified/Licensed EMT by the state-certifying agency/entity required.
