We are building the infrastructure for decentralized AI development at scale. We aggregate global compute and enable researchers to collaboratively train state-of-the-art models through distributed training across clusters.
Role
As our Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will be a key driver in shaping our strategy, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the smooth execution of our decentralized AI platform and protocol. This role requires a reliable hands-on operational leader with strong technical understanding, and the ability to stay on top many different operational areas.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Execution : Work closely with the CEO and CTO to define and implement the company's strategic vision, and ensuring the team productivity and accountability.
Operational Excellence : Design and optimize workflows to enhance productivity, scalability, and operational efficiency. Lead the implementation of systems for continuous improvement and high-velocity execution.
Protocol Support : Support our protocol team to drive the development, deployment, and scaling of our decentralized AI protocols, ensuring technical progress, legal, financial and other support.
Team Management : Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team across various functions, fostering a strong culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, datacenters and our broader customers.
Financial Management : Work with our fractional CFO to develop and manage budgets, optimize resource allocation, and ensure financial stability and growth.
Risk Management : Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and maintaining the highest standards of security and ethics.
Requirements
Proven track record of successful operational leadership in fast-paced, high-growth technology startups, preferably in the AI space.
Deep understanding of AI research and protocols.
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions in a rapidly evolving environment.
Strong business sense and financial management skills, with experience in fundraising and investor relations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
