What You’ll Do
Financial Leadership & Compliance
- Develop and maintain a robust accounting system, implementing controls to minimize risk and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
- Collaborate with auditors, providing necessary documentation and insights.
- Contribute to strategic financial planning, including budgeting and forecasting.
Operational & Analytical Excellence
- Manage financial systems and budgets, providing key analysis on capital investments, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
- Drive process improvements that enhance efficiency and financial performance.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support team development.
- Address personnel matters with fairness and professionalism.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in accounting, with leadership experience.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of internal controls, accounting principles, and financial software.
- Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to manage teams, communicate effectively, and drive results.
- Tech Proficiency: Expertise in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
