Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Controller at Prime Landscaping & Snow Removal in Park City, UT. The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing financial statements, conducting financial reporting, analyzing financial data, overseeing accounting processes, and ensuring financial compliance.

Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives.

• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.

• Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and optimize financial resources.

• Cost Control: Implement and manage cost control processes to improve efficiency and profitability.

• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience in the landscaping or construction industry is a plus.

Salary range starting at $110k - $130k a year plus profitability incentives.
