JOB TITLE: Production Assistant
DEPARTMENT: Retail
LOCATION: Dublin, TX
PAY: $17/hr

SUMMARY: Our Production Assistant is responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations within our retail stores and steel yard.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in loading and unloading material from machines
- Assist machine operators and drivers in the shop and yard
- Handle and transport materials and equipment within the facility
- Assist loading, unloading, and securing materials for customers
- Use power tools and machinery when needed
- Set out or put away tools when needed
- Clean up shop/store areas free of debris, dirt, and hazardous material
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform tasks
- Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player.
- Ability for cross training in other areas of the shop.
- Follow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.

- Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
- Occasional exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather).
