Key Responsibilities:
- Install custom millwork and cabinetry in commercial spaces (offices, retail stores, lobbies, etc.).
- Work closely with project managers and team members to ensure quality standards and timelines are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the exact millwork requirements.
- Handle all millwork materials with care and ensure accurate installation.
- Perform measurements and ensure all installations are precise and meet client specifications.
- Conduct quality checks and touch-ups as necessary to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving during the installation process.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial millwork installation is a must.
- Strong understanding of woodworking tools, techniques, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to on-site changes.
- Must have own tools and transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a variety of commercial sectors, including office, retail, and hospitality.
- Familiarity with advanced millwork techniques and finishes.
- OSHA certification or other safety training is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Overtime
