This 7-month position will involve leading a team of histology technicians and performing complex laboratory tasks, including grossing, embedding, cutting, staining, and cover-slipping of tissue specimens.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the preparation of tissue specimens, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the laboratory workflow.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of laboratory work.
• Collaborate with pathologists to prepare special stains and assist with diagnostic testing.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, chemistry, medical technology).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Histology and Cytology, preferably in a leadership role.
