Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and analyze laboratory tests on various specimens to support accurate diagnosis and treatment
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Ensure compliance with CMS, TJC, and laboratory quality control standards
- Document test results and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Develop and implement quality improvement measures to enhance lab efficiency and accuracy
- Provide training, technical guidance, and mentorship to laboratory and ancillary staff
- Participate in rotational shifts and on-call duties, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure continuity of services
- Support the implementation of new laboratory testing methods and assist with troubleshooting issues
