Job Title: Surgical Technologist
Location: Minneapolis
Duration: 12 months contract, with options for a 26-week assignment
Shift Schedule: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, split into three shifts: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, and 11:00 am - 7:30 pm
As a Certified Scrub Technician with Prime Physicians, you will provide clinical surgical support services in the operating room. You will be responsible for being present on time for scheduled shifts and documenting your physical presence at the start of each shift. Additionally, you will inform surgeons and staff about specialty surgical preferences, remain current on updates in surgical technology through continuing education courses, and assist the surgical team in quality improvement activities.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Scrub Technician or Surgical Technologist, with certifications in BLS. Key responsibilities include providing clinical surgical scrubbing services, informing surgeons and staff about specialty surgical preferences, remaining current on updates in surgical technology, and assisting the surgical team in quality improvement activities.
