Experience
- Minimum of five years’ experience working with peer support personnel who have been trained in and use the CISM response protocols as taught by the ICISF
- Trauma trained and significant work experience with emergency responders or public safety
- Provide crisis intervention services to federal agency employees involved in critical incidents.
- Utilize the International Critical Incident Stress Management (ICISF) model for trauma-informed crisis intervention.
- Work as part of a Critical Incident Peer Support (CIPS) team to support affected employees.
- Conduct individual and group crisis debriefings to help employees process trauma.
- Provide on-site support at locations designated by the requesting agency.
- Deliver training sessions on CISM-related topics using ICISF curriculum when requested.
- Support National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) and agency training courses as needed.
