Job Title : Clinical Psychologist

Location : Boise, ID 83705

Duration : 1 Year or Full time (options for 26 weeks contract)

Start Date : April 2025

Qualification

Education : Master's, doctoral, or equivalent degree from a psychology program accredited by the APA (American Psychological Association)

License : Current, unrestricted, license as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Experience :

  • Minimum of five years' experience working with peer support personnel who have been trained in and use the CISM response protocols as taught by the ICISF
  • Trauma trained and significant work experience with emergency responders or public safety

Responsibilities

  • Provide crisis intervention services to federal agency employees involved in critical incidents.
  • Utilize the International Critical Incident Stress Management (ICISF) model for trauma-informed crisis intervention.
  • Work as part of a Critical Incident Peer Support (CIPS) team to support affected employees.
  • Conduct individual and group crisis debriefings to help employees process trauma.
  • Provide on-site support at locations designated by the requesting agency.
  • Deliver training sessions on CISM-related topics using ICISF curriculum when requested.
  • Support National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) and agency training courses as needed.
